Garlic & Ginger Festival of Hawaii to take Place at Ward Centers
HONOLULU, HAWAII ~ The aromatic scent of garlic and ginger will soon be in the air at the Ward Centers (1031 Auahi Street, Parking Lot across of Ward Theaters) for the Garlic & Ginger Festival of Hawaii. This is the ideal event to have pau hana fun! Established in 2000 and originally known as the Garlic Festival of Hawaii, it has become one of the best-attended food and beverage events in Honolulu.

Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Ward Centers 1031 Auahi Street Parking Lot across of Ward Theaters
The Festival will include the following activities:
- Admission fee of $3.00 (at the door) and children 12 years and under are free
- Ten top-rated Hawaii restaurants selling various garlic and ginger dishes including: 3660 On the Rise/Kakaako Kitchen, REAL a gastropub, Side Street Inn, The Grove Kailua, Auntie Pastos, Tikis Grill & Bar, Prima, Dave & Busters, Tropic Fish Hawaii Raw Bar and Pokestop
- Live entertainment featuring the Tavana, Soulz, Audissey, Mike Love and Guidance throughout the entire event
- Garlic & Ginger Lovers Store
- Full no-host bar featuring Ginger Martinis and Paradise Beverage Beer Station offering Coors Light, Heineken, Sierra Nevada and Guinness
- Ballast Point Ginger Beer sponsored by hot new restaurant, REAL a gastropub
- Lush Pops, cocktail on a stick with fresh fruit from Hawaii
- Fresh produce and local items by Tropic Fish Hawaii, Nalo Farms, Maui Island Sausage and others
- Massages by True Health Massage
- Garlic ice cream by Daves Ice Cream
- Raffle drawing with prizes including Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa

- Valet parking available at the 1031 Auahi Street parking lot for convenience
The Victoria Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 clearinghouse, will be producing the event at Ward Centers and has selected Blue Planet Foundation and SEE-IT Hawaii as the beneficiaries of the festival. The foundation seeks sponsorships, coordinates all logistics and recruits volunteers.

The Science, Engineering Exposition-Innovative Technologies (SEE-IT) is a STEM based, non-profit exhibit to demonstrate to the students, families and visitors in Hawaii, that there is a vibrant technically based set of industries in Hawaii representing technology and engineering solutions generated and used here in Hawaii. It is composed of Hawaii-based enterprises, exhibiting what they do and the kind of technical jobs they represent as part of Hawaiis career opportunities.
